After a successful launch in Kenya in 2023, Latitude59 is back in Nairobi for our 3rd satellite event in Africa on December 3-5, 2025. It will bring together over 3,000 participants, including 1500 entrepreneurs, 200+ investors, ecosystem leaders, corporates, and policymakers from over 20 countries. Latitude59 Kenya 2025 is more than a conference. It’s an ecosystem engine – designed to spark long-term partnerships, scale meaningful ventures, and turn shared ambitions into measurable outcomes.

The L59 Pitch Competition will be back in Kenya in 2025 – do you have what it takes to make it to the finals and pitch in front 3000 people from the international tech and startup scene?

What are we looking for in a startup?

Actively fundraising – you are ready to raise a round / set a valuation
Business model – you are in the field of B2B
Proven traction – you have an existing MVP that’s bringing (at least some) revenue
Location – the core team is based in Africa

A prize pool that opens doors

The best startup will get a golden ticket to Tallinn, Estonia to participate in Latitude59 Tallinn 2026 and fast-pass to its Pitch Competition Pre-finals. For two years in a row, the prize pool in Estonia has been one million euros!

Pitch in front of a live audience of 2000 people & wow the international jury of startup experts & fund managers.
Fast track to the semi-finals (the TOP 40) of the Latitude59 2025 Pitch Competition in Tallinn (May 21-23, 2025). NB! This includes a trip to Estonia, paid by Latitude59 (flights & 2 nights accommodation + Latitude59 tickets) for 1 founder!
Investor readiness training workshop by Diligence Africa.
“Go-to-market” workshop by Adoptomedia.
$20,000 in service credits by Infobip.
$200,000 in AWS credits by Cloudplexo.
3 tickets to EMERGING Valley.
Membership to IHUB for the TOP 3 (3 team members: 1st place for 3 months, 2nd place for 2 months, 3rd place for 1 month).

Application deadline

Do you have what it takes? "Ideally, we are seeking startups with a functioning MVP, clear traction, scalability, and who are actively fundraising, with at least one founding member from Africa." Make sure to fill that Dealum form before November 1!

Out of all the applicants, just 10 teams will be selected based on the application criteria.

November 18-26, 2024

Startup training & coaching

The top teams have a chance to perfect their pitch and learn about investment readiness from Diligence Africa and startup growth from Adoptomedia. Many have reported that these few days of intense work have been highly valuable in their startup career!

November 28, 2024

The finals & announcing the winners

Top 10 teams will pitch live on the stage, in front of the 2000 local and international attendees of L59 Kenya Edition 2024. The winners will be announced at the closing ceremony of the conference.
